After the damaged metal and plastic body areas on your vehicle are repaired or replaced, a variety of cleaners and etchers are applied to condition the surface and to ensure adhesion of the paint system.

Etch primer is applied to protect the surface.

This is followed by primers which fill crevices and scratches. The colour coat is then applied, often followed by a clear coat.

The tough transparent film acts like a magnifying glass to bring out the brilliance of the colour, while protecting the pigments in the colour coat from harmful ultra violet rays of the sun, from acid rain and other contaminants. Then baked in the oven gives a longer lasting mirror like finish.
